Shine at your next audition!
The Preparing Audition Monologues Workshop is designed to help students confidently prepare and perform monologues for auditions. Students are guided in choosing monologues that are well suited to their personality and style. Rehearsals focus on characterization, staging that is fun to do and watch, memorization tools and handling non-acting moments in the audition with confidence and ease. Students perform their monologues in a final presentation.
Week 1 (April 6): Choose the right monologue that highlights your strengths and personality.
Week 2 (April 13): Tools for memorization and presentation.
Week 3 (April 15-27): One private 30 minute lesson to stage and refine your monologue. Note: Lessons will be booked by sign up sheet during the first group class.
Week 4 (May 4): Group Masterclass: Present your monologue and receive feedback.
Week 5 (May 11): Class Performance of monologues.
