More about the Performance Enrichment Program...

In the Performance Enrichment Program (PEP), we focus on key elements of musical development and provide a fun, age appropriate environment to meet other musicians at similar stages of development. We believe that having the opportunity to regularly play for others is not just a perk of taking lessons, but a key component of learning. While practicing music in your living room can be enjoyable and rewarding, we want to give our students an opportunity to discover that making music is about more than just practice.

Some students get the most enjoyment from playing for themselves while others love playing for an audience. We strongly believe that in either case, having the ongoing opportunity to set goals, to challenge oneself, and to perform regularly can make a crucial difference in a student’s development over time. With that in mind, our Performance Enrichment Program is designed to provide our students with a space where they feel comfortable presenting their music, being a part of a musical community, and growing together.

If you have questions or are wondering if the Performance Enrichment Program is right for your child, our Piano Faculty Director Michael Coburn is happy to speak with you.
