Whether you are a current client or brand new to our school, booking summer lessons has never been easier! Register for music lessons online using our “Book Now” tab in your Wellnessliving Account or our super amazing App for iPhone or Android. Here are the steps to book summer lessons on a desktop (Navigation may be different on mobile).

  1. Login to your account or create a new account. If you are booking lessons for your children that are not currently enrolled at CSM, you must first add your family members/relations to your account under the “overview tab” after you have finished creating your own account. This ensures you are booking the right family members into lessons!

  2. Purchase your pack: If you aren’t ready to schedule lessons yet but want to have your summer 4-pack available, navigate to the “Store”, select the summer lesson category, and choose the 4-pack that applies to you! It will then be available on your account when you have your schedule!

  3. Book your lessons: If you are ready to book your lessons or want to book only one lesson at a time, navigate to your child’s account tab (children are listed under your profile picture on the App) and then to the “Book Now” button at the top right-hand corner of the page (bottom right on the App) and select “Summer Lessons” from the list of book now options. Confirm the location you would like to book lessons out of (SW location in Marda Loop or NW location in North Haven. Online lessons are available from both).

  4. Choose what type of summer lesson you would like to book (which instrument and lesson length) and you will be given several booking options for teacher, day & time based on your selection. Instructors update their availability on a weekly basis and availability is subject to change. We recommend booking only 2 weeks in advance.

  5. You have several options for purchasing summer lessons: Purchase a package of 4 lessons, or single lesson drop-in. Choose an option that works for your schedule, summer lessons are flexible with a 24-hour cancellation policy. The 4 pack will be available on your account for future lesson bookings after your initial purchase.

  6. If you are a new student and require advice on which teachers to take lessons from, give us a call at 403-246-8446 and we can assist you or use our “Book a Callback Time” feature to schedule a call with a member of our team.

  7. If you just want to purchase a summer package now and book later: Navigate to your child’s account tab first, and then select the “Store” button. Click the “Summer Lessons” button and choose your package and follow the steps to pay. Your package will now be eligible for the lessons you book at a future time using the web, app or by calling administration at 403-246-8446.

Make the Most of Virtual Lessons

Your teacher will discuss with you which virtual platform works best.

Here are a few helpful tips to make the most of your online music lessons:

  • Find a quiet spot in your home to have your lesson free of distractions. Some students may need earbuds if they are learning in noisy environments.

  • A great internet connection! The faster the upload and download speed the better your feed will be.

  • A computer, phone or tablet.

  • A notebook and a pen or pencil.

  • An instrument (If you need to rent an instrument, please ask our administrator for recommendations).

Benefits of taking Summer Lessons:

1. Remain on top of your game! Studies show that even a small number of lessons during the summer months will ensure that students retain their skills and knowledge. Students who do not continue their musical studies in the summer spend up to two months in the fall reviewing previously learned material.

2. Advance quickly! With no school and homework, a student's rate of progress increases in the summer months, allowing for the development of new skills and enhanced artistry.

3. Get started! Summer is a great time for new students to begin. Students can gain comfort with their instruments, develop a relationship with their instructor, and build a strong musical foundation for enjoyment and success.

4. Self express through music! The summer offers a more relaxed environment where students are more free to be creative and expressive with their music. Students can experiment with trying a new instrument, a new instructor, or a new style of music!
