Oliver has earned a Jazz Diploma from Mount Royal University, a Music Performance Diploma from Humber College in Toronto, and a Bachelor of Music degree (with honours) from Thompson Rivers University. Oliver has taught at various schools in Alberta as a music clinician, and various masterclasses. Oliver believes there are many elements to mastering music, one of the most important is approaching music as language. And the most important element in any language is having something meaningful to say.
