Welcome to Indie Performance where students develop performance skills, enhance their stage presence and expand their musical artistry. Musicians are encouraged to find their own unique sound and explore different musical genres and styles. Our musicians showcase their skills on stage at open mic nights in popular venues in the city. Come audition for us!

Registration:
$580.00 One time payment OR
$100 due at the time of registration (non refundable) to be applied towards tuition then $60/month (Oct 1, 2024 - May 1, 2025)
Tuition does not include accompaniment fees. Please note that $100 is non-refundable for both payment options.
Tuition includes registration fee for the Chinook Celebration of Music Festival
Attendance Policy:
Attendance is key to each student’s success in this program. Students cannot exceed more than 3 missed classes per year otherwise they will forfeit their place in Indie and a refund will not be available.
Co-Requisite:
Students must be enrolled in private vocal lessons at Chinook School of Music or elsewhere.
Accompanist Requirements
Students who are not accompanying themselves in performances will require an accompanist at an additional charge to the student. Accompanist fees are outlined at the time of registration in the program.
Refund Policy:
Students wishing to withdraw must provide a written notice of four classes. Scheduled monthly payments for the following months will then be terminated. $100 is non-refundable, as stated at registration, and all refunds are subject to a $50.00 administration fee. Refunds and credits are not provided for student absences. No refunds will be issued after April 25th for the remainder of the school year. Any classes canceled by an instructor will be made up at the end of the session.
