New this year, we will be offering this well-loved program in two locations in both SW and NW Calgary! Bring your sunscreen and a blanket to sit on along with your excitement for a summer filled with music and fun.
Multi-ages Program
From movement and instrument exploration to singing songs that celebrate summer, our multi-ages program offers an unforgettable experience for all! Tailored for children, six months to 5 years of age, Music Kids in the Park fosters an environment where the youngest musicians are inspired by their older peers, and our oldest participants relish in the joy of being the leaders in the group. Our dynamic teachers ensure that each activity is adaptable for your child's age and abilities.
Music Kids in the Park is not just about learning music; it's about creating memories. Don't miss out on this summer tradition! Spaces are limited, and our program is a favorite among families.
2024 Class Schedule
June 24-August 26, 2024
Tuesdays to Fridays 9:30am & 10:30am in Kiwanis Park, 16th St & 38th Ave SW
Mondays 9:30am & 10:30am in North Haven Green Park, 48th Ave & North Haven Drive NW
* No classes on Monday, July 1st or Monday, August 5
Each class is 45 minutes
SW Registration: $180 per student. (9 weeks)
NW Registration: $160 per student. (8 weeks)

How to Register for Music Kids using Wellnessliving
Steps for booking your child in this class:
To book classes for your children, you must book them under their own profile in Wellnessliving to avoid booking yourself into the class by mistake.
If you are a new client, create a new Wellnessliving account for yourself. If you are an existing client, login to your account.
If you are a new client, create a profile in Wellnessliving for your child: Under the "My Profile" menu → Click the "Overview" sub-menu → Click the "+ Family Member" button to create your child's profile.
If you are an existing client, you can choose an already existing family member from your list of family members under the “My Profile” menu.Now on their profile → Click the "Book Now" tab in the top menu.
Select the program you want on the book now tab using the age categories and follow the steps to register and pay for your class. Confirmations will be sent by email.
If you are registering more than one child into multiple programs, go back to the profile tab and toggle between your family members to enroll the appropriate child into each class.

What you need for classes:
Instruments: A Music Kids in the Park Kit is available for purchase for $29.99 +GST for your class. This kit contains: a set of egg shakers, a set of rhythm sticks, a pair of clackers, a pair of scarves, a tambourine and a bottle of bubbles. You are also invited to bring items from home!
A blanket to sit on.
Sun protection for the whole family.
An umbrella and rain proof jacket for days with light drizzle.

Here are some key policies and protocols of Music Kids in the Park:
If you are sick, please do not attend class.
Outdoors only: Check your email 60 minutes before your class time if the weather is looking suspect. Should a class be canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be available.
Music Kids Refund Policy: This program is non-refundable after the first class of the session. Refunds issued prior to the first class are subject to a $25 administration fee. Students wishing to transfer from one Music Kids class to another during a session may do so provided that class space is available.
