Jerome Wang, Cello

Jerome is a cellist of 18 years who has recently completed his Bachelor of Music from the University of Calgary. During his studies, he had the opportunity to serve as principal cellist in the UCalgary Orchestra as well as perform in a variety of chamber ensembles, including piano trios, string quartets, and early music groups. Jerome feels fortunate to have studied under a wide range of distinguished instructors throughout the years, from whom his musical understandings and teaching methods have been gleaned. 

Jerome is eager to continue sharing his love for classical music through both performing and especially teaching, where he hopes to instill that same fondness in his students. Outside of professional work, Jerome is actively involved in serving his local church community.
