Piano lessons are a popular choice at Chinook School of Music and offer a lifetime of enjoyment from playing timeless classics to pop songs. Many musicians begin their studies on piano as skills such as reading treble and bass clefs, establishing a sense of rhythm, developing an ear for harmony and building coordination that easily transfer to other instruments.
Students may choose to prepare for Royal Conservatory of Music examinations or follow an individualized path exploring contemporary, jazz, pop and more. Learning opportunities include Piano Club or our Masterclass series. The recommended age to begin piano lessons is age 5. Learn more: Piano Parents - Is Your Child Set Up For Musical Success
