Theory & Composition Instructors

Our theory and composition instructors help students deepen their understanding of how music works. Lessons may include reading and writing notation, harmony, ear training, and musical analysis, as well as creative work such as composing and arranging. These studies can support instrumental learning, prepare students for RCM theory examinations, or provide tools for students interested in creating their own music.
