Calgary Contemporary Showcase is pleased to offer a composer workshop in 2017. Local composer and teacher Tim Janz will lead the workshop. Students will receive guidance and instruction on the compositional process, receive feedback on their works in progress, and kick start new creative ideas. Dates: Sunday Sept. 24, Oct. 1 & Oct. 15

Time: 1:30-3:00 pm

Place: Chinook School of Music, 3522 19th Street SW, Lower Level
Cost: $80, includes entrance fee to the Contemporary Showcase composition class.
Participants: Age 9 & up, with a strong interest in composition, and must have basic notation skills.
