Rock Bands Ages 10-20
Rock bands are designed for vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists and saxophonists. Students are guided through selecting and arranging repertoire, building collaboration skills, and gaining performance experience. Each session culminates in a live onstage showcase. Junior Rock Bands feature ages 10-12, and Teen Rock Bands are ages 13+.

A minimum of 2 years of private lesson instruction.
A recommendation from the student’s instructor.
Musicians must be currently enrolled in private lessons at Chinook School of Music or elsewhere.
Musicians must have the skills, resources and time to prepare their parts outside of rehearsal time and be comfortable playing in front of others.
No more than 2 absences are allowed in each session of Rock Band. No absences are allowed in the 2 weeks leading up to the performance. Failure to adhere to this attendance policy may result in the student being asked to leave the band and a refund will not be available.
Scheduling options will be discussed with parents at the time of registration.
A stage performance will be scheduled at the end of each session. Attendance is mandatory.

This program is non-refundable after the first class of the session. Refunds requested prior to the first class are subject to a $50 administration fee. Refunds and credits are not provided for student absences. Any classes canceled by an instructor will be made up at the end of the session.
