Perform jazz standards by legends like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington and more. Whether you are new to jazz or a seasoned player looking to get back into it, our dynamic environment will help you develop your skills in style, improvisation, performance, and collaboration.
Intermediate /advanced instrumentalists - piano, bass, drums, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and trumpet are welcome!

Program Fee
2 payments of $455 on September 15, 2026 and February 1, 2027
Pre-requisites:
Musicians must be at an intermediate/advanced level and have the skills, resources and time to prepare their parts outside of rehearsal. As attendance is crucial for the cohesion and progress of the band, all members are expected to attend rehearsals and performances.

A non-refundable group class placeholder fee of $25 is required at the time of registration for all full-year programs at Chinook School of Music.

This program is non-refundable after the fourth week. Refunds requested prior to the fourth week are subject to a $50 administration fee. Refunds and credits are not provided for student absences.
