Magic of Music
Specially designed for ages 5 & 6, Magic of Music invites children to discover the magic of music through singing, dancing, rhythm activities, crafts, acting and dress-up. This camp is full of imagination and playtime! With creative games and hands-on activities, each day is a new adventure in learning, music and storytelling

Drum & Strum
Drum and Strum is a high-energy camp jam-packed full of learning! Explore percussion and rhythm in new ways. Groove on the drum kit, create beats and rhythms in drum circles and learn popular chords and strumming techniques on the ukulele. This is the perfect camp for students who want to learn how to play the drums and ukulele.

This camp combines the singing, drama and choreographed movement of musical theatre with learning chords and strumming techniques on the uke! It’s the perfect combo for those who would love to sing and strum!

Music Kids Camps Ages 3-5
All of your favourite Music Kids activities packed into a two-hour camp! Singing, movement, instrument play, crafts and games come together in this playful program. Children will explore notes, rhythm, dynamics, tempo and more! This gentle introduction to day camp is geared towards children who are comfortable in a parent-free environment.

Pop Vocals & Ukulele
Sing and perform the songs you love! Back by popular demand, this day camp provides an opportunity for students to learn popular chords and strumming techniques on the uke while focusing on vocal production and stage presence with their singing. Students will feel like Pop Stars by the end of the week.

Guitar 101
Learn the basics of guitar in just one week! This day camp provides an opportunity for students to learn popular chords, notes, and strumming techniques on the guitar while building a strong foundation for future learning! Students will leave this camp feeling charged up about playing the guitar.
2026 Summer Camp Schedule

All participants are asked to bring a water bottle clearly labeled with their name on it along with a snack (no nuts please).
Please pack sunscreen and a hat in case we go outside!
Participants staying for the full day are required to pack a lunch (no nuts please).
Ukulele Camps: Bring your ukulele each day. All students who have pre-purchased or are renting a ukulele for the week will have their instrument waiting for them on the first day of camp. Please contact our administration team to purchase or rent a ukulele.
Guitar Camps: Bring your guitar each day. Guitar rentals are available and can be booked before your camp starts. Please contact our administration team to rent a guitar.

Please be advised that age requirements for our summer day camps are strictly enforced, and children must meet the appropriate class age by the first day of the camp.
No experience is necessary.
Lunch hour supervision is provided for all full-day camp registrants.
Please notify us if your child has any allergies or health issues that we should be aware of before the camp begins.
Children need to be escorted to and from the building by an adult and all parents must fill out a pickup authorization form before camps begin.
No refunds are issued 14 days prior to the camp start date. All refunds are subject to a $50 administration fee. (Exception: camps canceled by Chinook School of Music)
Chinook School of Music reserves the right to cancel a camp if registration numbers are insufficient. Participants will receive no less than 7 days notice of any such cancellation and a full refund.

$375 Full Day Camps, 9:00am-4:00pm
$185 Music Kids Camps, 1:00-3:00pm
Ukuleles are available for purchase at the time of camp registration for $46.99 Special Camp Price! (Regular Price $54.99).
Ukuleles are available for rent for your camp week at the time of registration for $25.00 +GST.
Guitars are available for rent for your camp week at the time of registration for $25.00 +GST.
$45 before or aftercare per student, $80 for both before & after care per student.
Before and aftercare is available for those active and working families who need a bit of extra time. In our before & after care programs, students play games, do crafts and socialize. Available to campers registered for full days of camp.
