Benefits of Summer Lessons
1. Stay Sharp! Studies show that even a small number of lessons during the summer months can make a significant difference. Research shows that students who continue learning over the summer retain their skills and avoid spending up to two months in the fall reviewing previously learned material.
2. Advance Quickly! With no school and homework, students advance more rapidly during the summer. It's the perfect time to build new skills, strengthen technique and deepen musical expression.
3. A Perfect Time to Begin! For new students, summer offers an ideal starting point. It's a chance to become comfortable with an instrument, connect with an instructor, and lay the foundation for long term success and enjoyment.
4. Explore and Express! The relaxed pace of summer invites creativity. Whether it's trying a new instrument, working with a new teacher or experimenting with a different musical style, students can explore music in fresh, inspiring ways.
