Perform jazz standards by legends like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Ella Fitzgerald and more. Whether you are new to jazz or a seasoned player looking to get back into it, our supportive environment will help you develop your skills in style, improvisation, performance, and collaboration.
Intermediate /advanced vocalists and instrumentalists - piano, bass, drums, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and trumpet are welcome! Combos run Mondays and Wednesdays. If you are unsure which combo you are best suited for, please contact CSM administration.
New for 2024-2025: Wednesday night Jazz Combo, where the focus is on improvisational techniques!
What you need to bring to class:
Guitarists, string players, and saxophonists, please bring your instrument to class including your guitar amp and patch cords. An electronic drum kit, microphones, and a piano will be provided.
Pre-requisites:
Musicians must be at an intermediate/advanced levels and have the skills, resources and time to prepare their parts outside of rehearsal. As attendance is crucial for the cohesion and progress of the band, all members are expected to attend rehearsals and performances.

Steps for booking into this class:
If you are a new client, create a new Wellnessliving account for yourself and add your family members. If you are an existing client, login to your account.
On your profile → Click the "Book Now" tab in the top menu.
Select the program you want using filters if applicable and follow the steps to register you or your family member and pay for your class. Confirmations will be sent by email.

Group Class Refund Policy
This program is non-refundable after the first class of the session. Refunds issued prior to the first class are subject to a $50 administration fee. Students wishing to withdraw from the class and transfer to private lessons or another program during the session may transfer the remainder of their balance with no penalty. Refunds and credits are not provided for student absences. Any classes canceled by an instructor will be made up at the end of the session.
